Metatrader 4 is a trading

Metatrader 4 is a trading platform. Dealing desk is a place where dealers execute trades. Non-dealing desk brokerage firms do not trade against their clients.

I don't think it matters what

I don't think it matters what platform you are trading. Theoretically, Dealing desk has more control on your trade or even delay the fill etc.. And on the other hand non dealing desk Broker doesn't intervene your trade.
