Velocity Trade today announces the appointment of Sargon Elias as General Manager for its New Zealand operations.
Elias was formerly responsible for introducing CFD trading to the New Zealand market as General Manager of CMC Markets in New Zealand.
From Scoop.co.nz:
Director of Velocity Trade Greg Morgan is pleased to be able to appoint someone with the considerable local experience of Elias.
“Sargon given his proven background in financial markets here in New Zealand,” says Morgan.
“His experience fits well with the expansion plans we have for the business in New Zealand, Australia and the wider Asia Pacific region. In Latitude FX we have acquired a company with a great heritage and which has provided an outstanding foreign exchange product for both businesses and individuals.”
The new role of Elias will focus on building the platform for Velocity Trade’s expansion into the Asia Pacific region after the Canadian-based company acquired Latitude in July.
